Dr. Mary Bareilles graduated from the prestigious Keio University School of Medicine, and worked and conducted medical research as part of the staff at Tokyo’s St. Luke’s International Hospital. She honed her medical skills studying and practicing abroad throughout Europe and the United States.
Upon returning to Japan, Dr. Bareilles continued to practice internal medicine as a staff physician at Kobe Kaisei Hospital’s international department. She also spent time researching the clinical condition of hemodynamics in the fibronolytic system at Kobe University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Bareilles assumed the position of medical director and worked closely in conjunction with a variety of foreign-based pharmaceutical companies (Abbott, Upjohn, etc.), assisting them with the development of their new products. She also helped one of the world’s foremost Contract Research Organizations (CRO), Parexel International, establish itself in Japan.
Dr. Bareilles is an independent consultant, and has helped successfully place doctors numerous times.
